In collaboration with Mane, Moëhr relies on Jungle Essence™, a supercritical CO₂ extraction process that isolates aromatic molecules at low temperature, preserving the integrity of natural raw materials and the true character of each ingredient.

Each material is placed inside a sealed extraction vessel, where controlled pressure and temperature conditions ensure a stable environment before extraction begins.

CO₂ is pressurised until it reaches a supercritical state, around 31°C and 73 bar, allowing it to penetrate efficiently while dissolving aromatic molecules.

Supercritical CO₂ flows through the material, capturing odorant compounds with precision while operating without the use of high heat or any petrochemical solvents.

Pressure is gradually reduced, causing the CO₂ to revert to its gaseous state and release the aromatic molecules, which precipitate and are recovered as a pure extract.

Once extraction is complete, CO₂ is fully recovered and recycled within a closed-loop system, reducing waste, energy consumption, and environmental impact.
